DRAKOTA^^^ V'DRAIS THE VICIOUS's AE RANGE

Group Makeup

Group1:
1 MT
1 Mystic (for MT buffs & MA heals)
1 Templar (For MT buffs & MA heals)
3 Mages (power for healers) or 3 more Healers (for MA heals)

Group 2:
1 MA
2 Healers
3 Melees, etc.

The Plan

Group 1 gets into their ONLY posistion marked Group 1 Group 2's Healers get into their ONLY posistion marked Group 2 Group 2's melees get in posistion at Group 1 initally. MT goes to Group 1 healers for buffs. MA goes to Group 2 healers for buffs. MT gets in position. MA pulls Inquistar^^ and friends with gimped AE Taunt (ae taunt dosn't affect raid mobs, aka the drakota^^^) MT takes Drakota^^^ and holds with taunts MA drags Inquistar^^ and friends down to group 1 range. Healers in Group 2 heal the MT MA targets the Inquistars friends and Group 2's Melees kill it. MA then targets the Inquistar and Group 2's Melees kill it. MA moves up to the Drakota and targets it bringing Group 2's melees with him. Group 1 stays in posistion

The WHYs?

This seems confusing, whats the deal? Well the drakota^^^ has an encounter locked AE with a HUGE range, but NOT zone wide (see pink area above). This means group 1 can hide out of range and be safe. Group 2 can engage and kill/heal at will. Its critical that agro dosn't fall off MT or its full group wipe time when all of group 2 goes down to the AE. Why not kill the Inquistar^^ first before his buddies? Well its true, its MUCH faster to kill the Inquistar (healer) first BUT if you do, the drakota^^^ will instant agros the group that did and will kill them all with its AE. That makes this tactic poor. Can the mages nuke? Well, if they have a ranged nuke, but if they slide forward too far and catch that AE they will eat dirt. Its a faster more exciting raid when the mages do nuke, but its slower/safer when they just feed the healers.
