Some updated pics

I didn't want to deal with the problems of a keyboard encoder with my player controls so i got these non-usb gamepads
for $9 a piece from Tiger Direct. You can daisy chain em together to 1 gameport!
TOOLS: 30watt iron, wire stripper, plenty of light, 40/60 solder, hot glue gun and experience (or ethusiam and patience).

Finally! UPS Ground is SO painfull sometimes

Sure these gamepads suck, but this makes it all worth while

I *may* have violated my warranty here...

Gee, the gamepads buttons are labeled a,b,c,x,y,z too, what a coincidence

Up, Down, Left, Right! No scratching black stuff off traces for me! Ah the good life

I flipped the leds from the back of the circuit board to the front, good for quick visual diags
Man i love that predrilled nonconducting keyboard plastic, hot melt is like iron on it

She's bypassed like a christmas tree! Don't slip (aka rush) and break the led trace like me!
